Role and Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Development: -

  • Deliver lectures and facilitate discussions on various topics in pharmacy, such as pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, clinical pharmacy, and pharmacy practice.
  • Develop and update course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments to ensure alignment with program goals and objectives.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods, technology, and active learning strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Provide academic advising and mentorship to students, including guidance on career paths and research opportunities.

Research and Scholarship: -

  • Conduct original research in areas related to pharmacy practice, drug development, pharmaceutical sciences, or other relevant fields.
  • Publish research findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, industry partners, and healthcare professionals on research projects and grants.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, advancements, and best practices in pharmacy through continuous professional development.

Service and Leadership: -

  • Participate in departmental, college, and university committees, meetings, and events.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of the pharmacy program's curriculum, policies, and accreditation processes.
  • Engage in community outreach activities, such as health fairs, educational programs, and collaborations with local healthcare organizations.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, faculty, preceptors, and professionals within the pharmacy field.
