From building and scaling an online platform in the throes of the COVID-19 global pandemic, to cementing themselves as a nationwide presence today, their growth is a testament to India's great love for sweets. They house over 400 SKUs and 30 brands from across the globe, with a number of marquee international brands launching on CocoCart in every month. Their offline growth is particularly impressive - they've launched over 55+ brick and mortar stores across the length and breadth of the country, and plan to launch more within the next 5 years.
Harnessing the founding family's everlasting love for gourmet chocolates, and founder Atul Ahuja's deep-rooted understanding of the hospitality & confectionary industry, the exceptional team at CocoCart launched Rhine Valley in 2022, their in-house artisanal chocolate brand. Heroing European artistry and traditional techniques, each hand tempered bar is richly decorated with over 30% of batch-roasted nuts–handpicked for highest quality. Rhine Valley's triumph lies in its eclectic flavours and expansive product launches, ranging from decorated gourmet bars, bite-sized dragees and their signature snacking rochers, with scrumptious granola and specialty coffee in the pipeline.
Role Brief:
The Human Resources Operations Person will work collaboratively across HR and the business to set the process / policy / manage end to end employee life cycle and create awesome people experience in the organization.
HR Process Management
- Oversee End-to-End Operations: Manage onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee records.
 - Optimize Processes: Enhance efficiency and effectiveness in HR operations.
 
Policy Development and Compliance
- Develop and Update Policies: Create and maintain HR policies ensuring compliance with local labour laws and company regulations.
 - Monitor Legal Changes: Update policies based on new labour laws.
 
Data Management
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate employee records in the HRIS system.
 - Generate Reports: Provide HR analytics and reports for management review.
 
Payroll Administration
- Process Payroll: Handle payroll processing, validation, reconciliation, and tax compliance.
 - Collaborate with Finance: Ensure accurate and timely payroll disbursements.
 
Employee Benefits
- Administer Benefits Programs: Manage health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
 - Address Inquiries: Assist employees with benefits-related matters.
 
HRIS Management
- Manage HRIS: Ensure data integrity and optimize the HR Information System.
 - Provide Training: Train HR and relevant staff on HRIS functionalities.
 
Performance Metrics
- Establish KPIs: Develop and monitor key performance indicators for HR operations.
 - Assess Performance: Regularly review and report on HR process performance.
 
Continuous Improvement
- Lead Initiatives: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance HR efficiency.
 - Stay Updated: Keep up with industry trends and best practices.
 
Vendor Management
- Manage Relationships: Oversee HR service providers, including payroll and benefits vendors.
 - Negotiate Contracts: Ensure service level agreements are met.
 
Employee Relations
- Collaborate on Issues: Work with HR Business Partners to resolve employee relations issues in line with company policies.
 
Desired Skills and Experience
- Education: MBA from a premier institution with 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
 - Expertise: Knowledgeable in HR best practices and employment laws in India.
 - Technical Skills: Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and HR software/tools.
 - Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
