The Project Coordinator DPR & Detailed Design is responsible for coordinating planning, design development, and documentation activities for infrastructure projects. The role ensures timely preparation of DPRs and detailed designs in compliance with client requirements, standards, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and detailed engineering designs
  • Act as the single point of coordination between design teams (highway, structures, geotechnical, traffic, drainage, utilities, and environment)
  • Develop and monitor design schedules, deliverables, and milestones
    • Ensure timely collection and integration of survey, traffic, geotechnical, and utility data
  • Review design inputs for completeness, consistency, and compliance with standards
  • Ensure designs comply with MoRTH, IRC, IS codes, and client specifications
  • Coordinate internal reviews, value engineering proposals, and design optimization
  • Manage client submissions, approvals, comments, and compliance reports
  • Track design revisions and maintain proper document control
  • Support preparation of cost estimates, BOQs, and technical reports
  • Assist Project Manager in progress reporting, billing milestones, and resource planning
  • Coordinate with authorities and stakeholders for data approvals and clarifications

Required Skills & Competencies


• Strong understanding of DPR preparation and detailed design workflows


• Knowledge of highway and infrastructure design standards (IRC, MoRTH, IS codes)


• Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and deadlines


• Strong documentation, coordination, and reporting skills


• Analytical mindset with attention to technical detail


• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications


• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)


• Master's degree in Transportation / Structural / Infrastructure Engineering – preferred
