Sree Sakthi Engineering College is seeking dynamic, innovative, and passionate individuals to join our esteemed Department of Computer Science Engineering (CSE). We invite applications for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. The ideal candidates should possess strong academic credentials and a passion for teaching, research, and fostering the next generation of leaders in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML), and Cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Instruction:
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), including specializations in IT, AI/ML, and Cybersecurity.
• Develop and deliver course content, assignments, and lab sessions in a manner that integrates the latest technologies and industry best practices.
• Assess student performance, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback to foster academic growth.
• Mentor students in their academic and career development, particularly in the fields of AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and Data Science.
• Research & Innovation:
• Conduct and publish high-quality, impactful research in AI/ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and other relevant domains.
• Collaborate with faculty, students, and external organizations on research projects and industry-sponsored initiatives.
• Supervise M.Tech and Ph.D. students in their research and thesis work.
• Apply for research grants and actively contribute to the research agenda of the department.
• Curriculum Development & Academic Leadership:
• Design and update course syllabi in line with industry needs and emerging trends in technology.
• Participate in the development of academic strategies and departmental goals to maintain high standards of teaching and research.

• Contribute to curriculum development initiatives, integrating new advancements in AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and Software Engineering.

• Academic Administration:

• Actively participate in academic and administrative duties within the department.
• Involved in the accreditation process, departmental committees, and other institutional activities.
• Foster an inclusive and collaborative academic environment that encourages student participation and success.
• Industry Collaboration & Outreach:
• Engage with industry partners to establish collaborations, internships, and placement opportunities for students.
• Organize workshops, conferences, webinars, and seminars on emerging topics in IT, AI/ML, and Cybersecurity.
• Facilitate partnerships with tech companies and other educational institutions for research and knowledge exchange.

Qualifications

• For Assistant Professor:
• Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML), Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferable.
• Proven expertise and academic credentials in one or more of the following: AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Cloud Computing, etc.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• For Associate Professor / Professor:
• Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), IT, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML), Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• A strong research portfolio with publications in high-impact journals and conferences.
• Significant teaching experience in CSE, with the ability to handle undergraduate and postgraduate courses in AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and related subjects.
• Demonstrated academic leadership, including the ability to mentor junior faculty and contribute to the strategic development of the department.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, C++, R, and relevant tools for AI/ML and Cybersecurity (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, SIEM, ethical hacking tools).
• Experience with current technologies in Cloud Computing, Big Data, IoT, Blockchain, and Network Security.
• Familiarity with modern teaching tools and platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, GitHub).
• Research & Collaboration:
• Excellent track record of research and publication in AI/ML, Data Science, and Cybersecurity.
• Strong capability in applying for and managing research grants.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, researchers, and industry partners on cutting-edge projects.
• Communication & Mentorship:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Strong mentoring abilities to guide students in research and academic pursuits.

Desirable Attributes

• Industry experience in AI/ML, Cybersecurity, or IT consulting.
• Active involvement in professional societies and conferences related to Computer Science, AI/ML, or Cybersecurity (e.g., IEEE, ACM, NASSCOM).
• Experience in interdisciplinary research and integration of emerging technologies.
