Senior DevOps Engineer
We're looking for an Senior Devops Engineer candidate with experience in DevOps engineering and exposure to cloud technologies to join our team. Location will be discussed during Offer time.

You will report to Senior Manager - Cloud Operations & SRE

Technology You'll Use
DevOps Engineers work to shorten the systems development life cycle while delivering features, fixes, and updates frequently in close alignment with business objectives. Works with software developers, systems administrators, and other IT staff to oversee code releases. May be required to provision required resources, select an appropriate deployment model, direct the testing protocol to validate release, and monitor performance after release. Tasks may include preparing test data, analyzing results, troubleshooting problems, and communicating issues back to development.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
You will join a growing team and will be responsible for DevOps and Operations for several Informatica products. Our environment uses Agile methodologies and works closely with the Research and Development teams to ensure high-quality, stable environments for our customers.

• Ensure security, performance, and high availability of all environments by applying Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Enabling deployment to cloud and on-premise environments.
• Create automated Infrastructure administration workflow capabilities by removing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve upon the development and build capabilities in the team.
• Share your experience and knowledge with other members of the DevOps team.

• Works on problems of limited professional level scope and follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
• Works with team-level impact and collaborates with others to achieve objectives.
• Must have system administration (DevOps) experience with Linux administration understanding.
• Bash Scripting, Ruby, Python, and/or Perl experience.
• Requires Automation experience.
• Development pipeline tools knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in working with software build, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment tools.
• Source control system and branch strategy, Perforce or Git preferred.
• Continuous delivery and deployment
• Agile development methodologies and release management techniques objectives.

Role Essentials

• 3+ years' experience in Linux Administration and Cloud environments.
• Experience with LAMP stack applications.
• Linux administration experience e.g. RedHat & CentOS.
• Good scripting skills in bash and at least one of Go/Python/PHP/Javascript.
• Experience with Virtualization and Cloud e.g. VMware and AWS.
• Exposure to Docker and containers.
• Exposure to Java environments and microservices.
• Familiar with Agile development lifecycle and practices- TDD, CI/CD.
• TCP/IP and network administration, VPN, Firewalls.
• AWS resource management with CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
• Continuous integration with Puppet (preferred) or Chef.
• Jenkins, Gradle or other OSS CI tools.
• Knowledge of RDBMS e.g. Postgres. MySQL; Familiarity with NoSQL Databases e.g. MongoDB a plus
• Any experience with administering Solr or ElasticSearch and RabbitMQ or similar would also be welcome.
• Experience with Spinnaker is preferable.
• Excellent command of the English language.
