Job Overview

TeachEdison is seeking a Junior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team in Coimbatore. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for creating clear and concise technical documentation to enhance the usability of our products. As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate with developers and product managers to gather information and transform it into engaging content for our users.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in technical documentation with a minimum of 1 year to 3 years in a related role.
  • Proficiency in creating user manuals, technical guides, and other forms of documentation.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and clarity in documentation.
  • Familiarity with version control systems to efficiently manage document revisions and updates.
  • Understanding of information architecture principles to organize content logically and intuitively.
  • Experience with API documentation to communicate technical specifications and usage guidelines effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a focus on clarity and simplicity.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to gather essential information.

  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, and product teams to gather and verify technical information.
  • Organize complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to the target audience.
  • Utilize version control systems to track changes and manage documentation revisions efficiently.
  • Conduct research to stay updated on new technologies and industry trends impacting documentation practices.
  • Edit and refine existing documents for clarity, consistency, and comprehensibility.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to TeachEdison's style and quality guidelines for branding consistency.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, challenges, and improvements related to documentation processes.
