Senior Manager - Product Planning

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Job Role

  • Europe Product Planning for FES (Handling variety of Product Variants across multiple product platforms)
  • Variant Management including Rationalization and Standardization
  • Working on Value Analysis, Value Engineering proposals
  1. Product Planning for EU Geographies :
    1. Creating Product Strategy & Road map for Europe with Market Insights, Customer Understanding, Country-specific Homologation & Compliance Requirement.
    2. Create Product Proposals basis market requirement & understanding
    3. Collaborating with Project Team for Delivery of Product Variants & its GTM Strategy
  2. Stake holder Management : Collaborating with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Component Development, Rest Product Planning, Country Sales & After Sales Teams
  3. Establishment of Product Value in Target Countries through various product management techniques
  4. Working with CFT on Variant Rationalization for Relevant Geographies
  5. Techno-commercial Evaluation of Value Engineering, Standardization proposals
Experience

10 years of experience in automobile preferably tractor industry

Industry Preferred

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, result oriented, Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs, Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural, or related)

Full time MBA preferred

  • Product Knowledge of tractor and farm equipment
  • Knowledge of product marketing, pricing, GTM strategies
  • Proficient in tractor & farm equipment sector.
  • Understanding of global tractor markets including consumer understanding.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands on experience for working on SAP MM Modules
