Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cost Accountant based in Mumbai. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for monitoring and controlling costs, preparing budgets, conducting cost analysis, and helping to achieve cost efficiency. Daily tasks include updating cost records, analyzing variances, managing inventory costs, and collaborating with other departments to improve cost control and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and cost analysis
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with financial software and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
- Prior experience in the food industry is a plus
