We are looking for experienced
Sales & Business Development Consultants
with strong MSME expertise to join our exclusive talent pool for an upcoming 12-month strategic engagement with a leading consulting firm and a prominent public sector bank in Mumbai.
The consultants will play a key role in building and scaling the bank's MSME ecosystem, driving partnership development, co-lending models, and market access initiatives that foster growth for MSME clients.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the MSME client base and strengthen market presence.
- Build strategic partnerships with NBFCs, fintechs, corporates, and other ecosystem players for co-lending, supply chain finance, and digital collaboration.
- Identify and pursue new MSME market opportunities, fostering innovation in financial and non-financial product offerings.
- Support the design and execution of ecosystem-led initiatives that enhance MSME access to finance, digital tools, and growth platforms.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align business growth strategies with the bank's MSME objectives.
- Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and feasibility studies to guide partnership and growth strategies.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, track partnership outcomes, and recommend improvements for long-term scalability.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships within MSME banking, NBFCs, or fintechs.
- Proven track record in ecosystem building, co-lending partnerships, or MSME segment growth.
- Strong understanding of financial products, market dynamics, and digital collaboration models.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- MBA or equivalent preferred; certifications in sales strategy, partnership management, or business development will be an advantage.
This is a 12 months (extendable) contractual role, based in BKC, Mumbai
