Job Description
We are looking for an
Application Developer (Java, Unix, PLSQL)
to join our team for L1 AMS support at the client location in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for providing application support, incident resolution, and monitoring activities in a 24x7 production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 Application Support for Java-based applications, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of incidents.
  • Perform incident monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting for production issues.
  • Execute and monitor Unix shell scripts and batch jobs.
  • Write and maintain PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data validation and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with L2/L3 support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA timelines and proper documentation of incidents and resolutions.
  • Participate in 24x7 shift rotation (including weekends as per client calendar).

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java (Core Java, J2EE basics).
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux commands & shell scripting.
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL (queries, stored procedures, debugging).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in 24x7 production support environment.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
