As a Software Development Manager, you will be part of a leadership team responsible for coaching and mentoring talented software developers working in an agile SaaS environment. You will directly impact and influence product delivery, team growth and employee engagement.  Our developer-focused team culture encourages our engineers to be self motivated and self directed. Role & responsibilities

  • Lead, grow, mentor and support your development team(s).
  • Work closely with your team(s) Product Manager and Architect to define your team(s) roadmap and goals
  • Build, support and enhance our culture of inclusion in 1;1s and team settings.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as Customer Support, Customer Success, Product Management, and Professional Services
  • Deliver on our product roadmaps by guiding development teams to embrace the highest of standards of quality and consistent delivery.
  • Lead by example and foster an environment of continuous improvement, feedback, and accountability

Preferred candidate profile

  • 2+ years managing developers as direct reports, including 1:1s, performance reviews, and career growth planning
  • 10+ years software development experience, (Java, ETL, integrations with ERP systems, native connectors)
  • Proven ability to build and sustain high-trust, high-performing teams
  • Experience coaching engineers through making architectural and delivery decisions
  • Track record of delivering complex SaaS projects in an agile environment
  • Skilled at partnering with Product and Architecture to shape team and departmental roadmaps
  • Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing engineers at multiple levels
  • Strong communicator with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Able to hold teams accountable while fostering psychological safety
  • Technical background in Java Software development
  • Passionate about inclusion, mentorship, and continuous improvement
