Production Supervisor

Job Title: Production SupervisorJob Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations on the manufacturing floor, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on time. This role involves supervising staff, managing resources, monitoring quality control, and maintaining compliance with safety and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers and team leads.
• Ensure production schedules and deadlines are met according to established quality standards.
• Monitor workflow and adjust assignments to maintain efficiency.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Train and develop employees to improve performance and productivity.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Maintain production records and generate reports on output, downtime, and quality issues.
• Collaborate with other departments such as quality assurance, maintenance, and engineering.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and request supplies or materials as needed.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2–5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and use metrics to drive decision-making.
• Proficient in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Work Conditions:

• Typically works in a manufacturing plant or factory setting.
• May involve standing for long periods, lifting, and exposure to loud machinery.
• May require shift work, including nights or weekends, depending on the facility's operating hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9, ₹33,137.39 per month
