Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Accountant, based in Kozhikode, with the flexibility to work from home as needed. The Junior Accountant will handle tasks such as processing financial transactions, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, maintaining records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves supporting the senior accounting team, preparing reports, and contributing to the company's financial analysis and budgeting activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, including financial statements preparation and account reconciliation.
  • Experience with accounting software and tools, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and general familiarity with financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks effectively, and maintain organizational efficiency.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
