CAD Drawing & Detailing (70% of role)

  • Prepare complete fabrication/shop drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D for:
  • uPVC windows & doors (casement, sliding, villa windows, slide & fold, lift & slide)
  • Aluminium windows, doors, curtain wall, structural glazing
  • Shower partitions, frameless glass doors, patch fittings
  • Glass facade works (spider glazing, ACP cladding, SS railing with glass)
  • Office partitions, conference room glass works, mirrors
  • Interior layouts (wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, false ceiling sections – if required)
  • Generate cutting list & optimisation for uPVC & aluminium profiles
  • Prepare hardware schedule, glass schedule, accessory list
  • Coordinate with site supervisor for exact measurements and make revision drawings
  • Convert architect/client drawings into production-ready CAD files

Quotation Preparation & Order Follow-up (30% of role)

  • Prepare detailed & professional quotations with complete BOQ, drawings, terms & conditions
  • Calculate accurate costing (profile, glass, hardware, labour, transport, GST)
  • Send quotations to clients/architects/builders via email/WhatsApp within 24 hours
  • Regular follow-up on sent quotations (calls, WhatsApp, site visits if required)
  • Negotiate rates and close orders
  • Maintain quotation register & order conversion report

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Civil or Architecture
  • Minimum 2–7 years experience in uPVC or aluminium windows & facade industry
  • Excellent command over AutoCAD 2D & 3D (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of any window-specific software is a big advantage (Fenesoft, Orgawin, Winpro, Schueco Designer, Reynaers Calculite, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • uPVC profile systems (Rehau, Kommerling, Veka, Fenesta, Aluplast, Deceuninck)
  • Aluminium systems (Schuco, Aluk, Jindal, Hindalco)
  • Glass types (toughened, DGU, laminated) and hardware (ROTO, GU, Dorma, Hafele, Hettich)
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and site measurements
  • Good communication skills (English + Hindi + local language)
  • Proficient in MS Excel for BOQ & quotation preparation
