Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations. In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview

The Risk Function Technology (RFT) organization is responsible for the management and delivery of technology for the banks enterprise control functions. We also manage GT&Os business operations, business processes and controls, workforce management, Simplify & Improve (SIM) governance, and initiative and master planning processes.

The associate will be responsible for developing/delivering and supporting complex requirements to accomplish business goals within the SDAR (Strategic Data Analytics and Reporting) platform. This role requires coding the solutions, unit tests, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
• Participate and guide the team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
• Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in the design and development of client requirements.
• Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
• Participate, contribute, and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events e.g., branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes.

Requirements Education

• B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc. / BCA / MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Experience Range

• 6-9 years

Foundational Skills

• Experience in the Banking domain with knowledge of Risk Management.
• Strong experience working in Oracle, PL/SQL packages, and procedures.
• Hands-on experience in SQL, Oracle, or any other RDBMS systems.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Desired Skills

• Strong relationship, verbal and written communication, listening, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Assist the team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
• Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. Highly self-motivated and directed.

Work Timings

• 11:30 a.m. to 08:30 p.m.
