In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview:

Global Markets Data, Sales and Research Technology team provides technology solutions to support the Global Research, Markets Sales and Markets Data Organizations. The key functions performed are master planning, vendor management, business engagement, application design & development, and application life-cycle planning. The team is responsible for strategic and operational priorities that support our company's eight lines of business.

A Software Engineer III is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements using .Net, Angular, Web services, SQL Server technologies. This role involves in architecture, design, codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces. They are familiar with development and testing practices of Agile. A Software Engineer III demands capabilities and have experience in seamless integration of applications with other systems/business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
• Responsible for compliance and security items and audit support at the team level.
• Acts as a liaison for production activities/issues.
• Automates manual release activities
• Become subject matter expert on code deployed on our platform and support to other developers
• Write reusable and extendable code and become a key contributor of the core platform
• Review and provide code feedback in terms of best practices with keen eye towards performance and stability optimizations.
• Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
• Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
• Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.
• Works with tools and technologies required by the business.
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas

Requirements:

• Education: B.E./ B Tech / M.E./M Tech /M.C.A / M.Sc. (Computer Science, IT, S/W)
• Certifications (if any):
• Experience Range: 6-8 Years.

Foundational Skills:

• 8 years of experience in .Net Core, Blazor and RDBMS concepts.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office components - Excel, Word, Outlook
• Experience is design, develop, test and implementation of Web based applications.
• Experience in implementation of web services: SOAP, REST Web API, JSON, XML, XSLT
• Ability to work independently with initial ramp up time of 2 weeks time.
• Hands on skills: .NET Core, Blazor, C#, Web API
• Well versed with SDLC knowledge: Agile Scrum, JIRA, BitBucket, Tower/Ansible automation experience
• SQL Server - t-SQL, Views, Indexes, Stored procedures
• Excellent verbal, written communication and Analytical thinking skills
