Skills & Competencies:
- Must have overall 5 - 6 Years of experience with 3+ years in Data Engineering and Agentic AI.
- Proven expertise in full-stack development with strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, React, and Angular.
- Hands-on experience in designing and deploying Generative AI solutions, including LLM-based chatbots and domain-specific assistants.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, API design, and cloud integration (Azure, AWS) for scalable enterprise applications.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) and data pipeline optimization.
- Familiarity with MLOps, LangChain, LangSmith, and modern AI frameworks for building agentic AI systems.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills with the ability to drive best engineering practices in agile environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and build secure, modular, and high-performance systems to support advanced AI workflows.
- Develop and integrate enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions, leveraging LLMs and frameworks like LangChain and Azure AI.
- Design and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and efficiency across relational and non-relational databases.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering innovation and adherence to best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, manage GitHub repositories, and ensure compliance with CI/CD and agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in Generative AI, MLOps, and cloud technologies, integrating new tools and frameworks as needed.
- Communicate technical strategies and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
About The Team
The Model Dev team is dedicated to both introducing innovative new catastrophe models and continuously refining and supporting those already in use. Our work encompasses the entire lifecycle of model development, from initial concept and design through rigorous implementation, testing, and maintenance. We collaborate closely to ensure that each model remains accurate, up-to-date, and highly responsive to the evolving needs of the insurance industry. By staying agile and integrating the latest advancements in technology, we guarantee that our models deliver reliable insights for risk assessment and management, ultimately strengthening the resilience of our clients against catastrophic events.
