How will you do it?
We're seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Engineer to streamline our data operations. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the stability, integrity, and performance of our enterprise databases. This role involves hands-on maintenance, data lifecycle management, automation, and support for business-critical analytics.

• Monitor data consistency and integrity across multiple database platforms
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources
• Manage and support data transmission, synchronization, and consolidation between business systems
• Build and maintain robust database queries and interfaces
• Perform complex data imports, cleansing, structuring, and exports across varied sources
• Design and implement automated workflows for database operations, including deployment and routine maintenance
• Collaborate across teams to identify data needs and improve processes
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of data systems
• Work with Snowflake (preferred) to manage large datasets and performance tuning
• Support financial data processing activities with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

What we look for?

• Proven experience working directly with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) Expertise in Oracle and SQL Server database platforms.
• Strong knowledge of stored procedures, views, triggers, and query performance optimization
• Hands-on experience in data security, compliance, and capacity planning
• Previous experience handling financial data in a secure and controlled environment
• Programming skills (e.g., VBA, scripting languages) are a strong asset
• Familiarity with Snowflake or willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving mindset
• Power BI / Power Query experience for reporting and dashboarding
• Strong communication skills for turning data into stories
