Role Description

We are seeking an R&D Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Scientific Writing or Research Engineering, specializing in Mechanical, Computer, or AI Engineering. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune. We are looking for experienced and research-oriented
R&D Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
to contribute to multidisciplinary research and engineering projects. The role involves providing deep domain expertise, supporting research formulation, validation, and technical documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality, scientifically sound outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Research and Development (R&D) and a proven ability to innovate and contribute to cutting-edge projects.
• Excellent Analytical Skills and the ability to assess data effectively to guide research outcomes.
• Proven Communication and Scientific Writing skills to effectively document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on Research and Laboratory Skills, particularly in Mechanical, Computer, or AI Engineering projects.
• Advanced degree (B.E., B.tech, Master's or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to independently manage research projects and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
• Previous experience in academia, industry R&D, or technical publications is considered an advantage.

• Prepare scientifically validated results with clear and accurate domain-specific explanations

• Contribute to technical writing, report drafting, academic documentation, and manuscript review
• Prepare technical notes, research summaries, literature insights, and analytical reports
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality, precise, and timely deliverables

• Mentor researchers/students and support knowledge-based tasks whenever required.
