Job Overview

The candidate will be responsible for driving and managing end-to-end execution of new branch infrastructure projects, from lease finalization to project handover. The role requires technical acumen, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to prepare and present business cases to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have 1015 years of experience, preferably in BFSI or retail rollouts, and be well-versed in lease documentation, infrastructure design standards, and project governance.

Role & responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination:

Oversee infrastructure setup for new branches from lease signing to handover to facility teams.

Ensure timely execution of projects within defined timelines and budgets.

Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Legal, Finance, IT, HR) and external vendors.

Lease & Compliance Management:

Support lease transactions with knowledge of commercial terms, stamp duty, registration norms, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with statutory and internal governance requirements.

Design & Standardisation:

Collaborate with design teams to develop and implement standard layouts, specifications, and infrastructure templates.

Review and approve technical drawings and design documentation.

Rate Contracts & Vendor Coordination:

Manage rate contracts for infrastructure components and services.

Liaise with vendors for timely delivery and quality assurance.

Leadership Communication:

Prepare presentations, approval notes, and budget proposals for senior leadership.

Present project status, cost analysis, and strategic inputs for decision-making.

Technical Oversight:

Provide technical guidance on infrastructure setup, including electrical, civil, and mechanical aspects.

Ensure infrastructure quality and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

    (Candidates with relevant experience in infrastructure setup and lease management may also be considered.)
  • 10 -15 years of experience in infrastructure project execution, preferably in BFSI or retail branch rollouts.
  • Strong understanding of lease documentation, stamp duty, and registration processes.
  • Experience in coordinating with design teams and reviewing technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
