Role Description
Department
: Banquet Sales
Location
: Merces and Verna, Goa
Reports To
: Sales Head
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development - Identify and develop new banquet business opportunities through corporate, social, and wedding segments. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business. Conduct regular sales calls, site visits, and follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed bookings. Achieve monthly and quaterly sales revenue targets as set by management.
- Event Coordination & Client Servicing

Liaise with the banquet operations team to ensure all event requirements are executed seamlessly. Prepare detailed event proposals, quotations, and banquet contracts. Ensure client satisfaction by providing timely communication, accurate information, and personalised attention. - Market Research & Reporting - Keep track of competitor offerings, pricing trends, and market developments. Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to the reporting manager. Maintain an updated database of clients, leads, and inquiries in Excel.

- Goal-driven, persuasive, and proactive in follow-ups
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple clients simultaneously
Education and Experience
- Any graduations or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in banquet, hotel, or event sales preferred.
- Freshers with a passion for sales in the hospitality industry may also be considered.
- Proficiency in Google spreadsheet or MS Excel.
