Opportunity – Senior Associate (M&A, Private Equity & Venture Capital) | Tier 1 Law Firm

Role Highlights:

  • M&A & Private Fund Transactions: Lead and support domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, exits, and joint venture transactions in the unlisted space.
  • Sector Expertise Application: Engage on transactions spanning real estate, logistics, IT/ITES, and other high-growth verticals 
  • Deal Structuring & Execution: Oversee transaction structuring, deal negotiation, due diligence processes, and drafting of key documentation.
  • Client Advisory: Act as a strategic advisor to private equity funds and corporate clients on entry & exit strategies, FDI/ODI structures, and general commercial frameworks
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams across disciplines to deliver comprehensive, commercial and legally sound solutions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Senior Associate with 7–8 years PQE, corresponding approximately to 2018–2019 batch law school graduates.
  • Demonstrated experience in M&A, private equity, venture capital, or related joint venture/transactional work.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation capabilities, with significant exposure to cross-border or complex deal structures.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial judgment, capable of independently steering high-stakes mandates.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
