Job Description

Job Summary:

The Workday Financial Test Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, executing, and automating test cases to ensure the quality and accuracy of Workday Financial Management implementations and integrations.

  • Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Workday Financials implementations and enhancements.

  • Perform functional, regression, system integration, and end-to-end testing of Workday Financial modules.

  • Validate configurations, business processes, and integrations related to:

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Asset Management

    • Cash Management

    • Financial Reporting and Budgeting

  • Create and maintain test data sets aligned with financial scenarios and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

  • 3–6 years of experience in Workday testing, preferably in Financials or ERP testing.

  • Strong understanding of Workday Financial Management modules (GL, AP, AR, Assets, Expenses).

  • Experience in functional and automation testing of ERP systems.
