Sr. Engineer – Motor Mechanical Design

What we're looking for

The right candidate will be a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer experience in electric motor mechanical systems, preferably in the EV or rotating machinery domain. They will bring strong expertise in CAD/CAE, thermal management, material selection, and structural analysis, while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills, effective cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

What will you own and do

  • Design & Analysis: Motor mechanical design, material selection, structural integrity (FEA), tolerance analysis (GD&T), and enclosure/IP design.
  • Performance & Validation: Thermal management, NVH/ vibration control, prototype development, and testing.
  • Manufacturing & Compliance: DFM/DFA knowledge, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

What you will bring to us

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical/ Automotive Engineering with 5-8 years in motor design, powertrain, or rotating machinery.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD/FEA/CFD tools with expertise in materials, tolerance stack-up, NVH, sealing/IP design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing processes. Professional Strengths: Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and documentation skills with adaptability, communication ability, and passion for EV and sustainable design.
