Graduate Engineer Trainee

Overview of Position:
We are seeking an experienced GET Procurement to lead procurement activities for renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Job Description
- Support in floating enquiries/RFQs to approved vendors.
- Coordinate with suppliers for technical clarifications.
- Review vendor compliance with project technical requirements.
- Assist in ensuring procurement aligns with ISO/IS/IEC quality standards.
- Help in comparing technical-commercial bids (Techno-Commercial Evaluation).
- Prepare Purchase Orders & Service Orders in SAP.
- Maintain procurement documentation (RFQs, quotations, evaluation sheets, POs, inspection reports).
- Ensure vendors submit documents (drawings, datasheets, test certificates) on time.
- Track compliance with statutory and project-specific standards.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of project materials (e.g., transformers, cables, switchgear, civil materials).
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for material inspection and acceptance.
- Support logistics in resolving transport, insurance, and storage-related issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related).
- Fresh graduates (0–1 year of experience) are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and technical standards is an advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the renewable energy sector.
