Java Lead Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery tracking.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through automated testing and CI/CD practices.

Technical Skills (Required):

  • Core Java, J2EE – Expert level
  • Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) – Strong experience
  • RESTful APIs & Microservices Architecture
  • Database – SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB)
  • Messaging Systems – Kafka, RabbitMQ (preferred)
  • Build Tools – Maven, Gradle
  • Version Control – Git
  • CI/CD Tools – Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Cloud Platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred)
  • Unit Testing & Automation – JUnit, Mockito, Selenium

Soft Skills (Mandatory):

  • Strong Communication Skills – Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership – Experience in leading and mentoring developers.
  • Problem-Solving Ability – Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ownership & Accountability – Takes responsibility for deliverables and timelines.
  • Agile Methodologies – Comfortable working in Scrum or Kanban environments.
  • Client Interaction – Ability to engage with clients for requirement gathering and solution discussions
