Hiring Sustainability Specialists

Responsibilities: Location: Pan India. Provide subject matter expertise on sustainability and ESG tools, assurance, reporting frameworks and standards, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, etc. Analyze client's sustainability and ESG data, processes, policies, and disclosures, and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Develop and implement solutions to enhance client's sustainability and ESG performance, such as data collection and validation, dashboard and report design, stakeholder engagement, target setting, scenario analysis, etc. Conduct quality assurance and verification of client's sustainability and ESG data, reports, and disclosures, and provide feedback and recommendations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with best practices. Support business development and sales teams in creating proposals, presentations, and demos for potential and existing clients, and showcase the value proposition of sustainability and ESG tools and services.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as technology and delivery teams, clients, partners, and industry associations, to share knowledge, insights, and best practices on sustainability and ESG topics. Strong understanding and application of corporate, supply chain and product carbon Footprinting Experienced in performing or assessing quantification and calculations related to GHG emissions, assurance and reporting engagements including scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions Experience in governance of ESG measurement, i.e., environmental operating model design, carbon offset strategy definition and ESG Framework selection Use of carbon accounting methodologies, guidance documents such as GHG Protocol, PAS 2080:2016, PAS2060 and PAS2035 and application of recognized sustainability frameworks and guidelines (TCFD, GRI, SASB, EU Taxonomy, etc.) Design, implementation, and reviews of KPIs related to ESG, carbon accounting for management reporting.

Undertake corporate and organisational carbon accounting for corporate sustainability reporting such as SCER, CDP, Science Based Targets, GRESB and experience with scope 3 emission calculations and reporting Understanding of Life Cycle Carbon Analysis, circular economy principles and engineering approaches to carbon reduction solutions Strong experience of working on circular economy projects in thematic areas such as plastic packaging, e-waste, textile, life sciences, chemicals and consumer goods Qualifications: Master's degree in engineering subject with a sustainability component (e.g. sustainability, environmental engineering, environmental science etc years of experience in environmental/sustainability consulting, carbon accounting, product carbon footprint; and performing, managing, interpreting, and communicating on ESG assessments. Possess strong technical knowledge of ESG frameworks and methodology (Comparative LCAs, allocation procedures, cut-off criteria, uncertainty analysis, data quality requirements, impact categories, and completeness, consistency, and sensitivity checks) In-depth knowledge and experience of working with ESG Online Platform is desirable.

Experience of automating the ESG data collection and calculation process using above software solutions. Passion for sustainability and understanding of the principles of ecodesign and sustainable procurement. Showcase strong analytical skills and experience with data analytics tools and software.

Keen interest in digital technology and its potential to measure environmental impact. Desired Skills: Able to work independently and with limited supervision while maintaining high quality and a highly positive team energy and spirit. Manage projects within the allotted budget and timeframe.

Summarize and communicate the insights/findings as reports /presentations. Having good report writing, presentation and communication skills. Support presales and in preparation of techno-commercial proposals.

Knowledge and experience with project management, as well as project leadership approaches and best practices.
