Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance for our products, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of equipment to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Install new equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Provide on-site support to customers, addressing any concerns or queries regarding product performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs, parts used, and time spent on tasks.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product designs based on customer feedback and service experiences.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to enhance service delivery.

Skills

  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to the role.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for travel to client sites.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
