We are seeking a hands-on robotics engineer to design, build, and deploy next-generation robotic systems for healthcare applications. You will work closely with electrical, mechanical, and product teams to deliver production-ready robots with advanced autonomy, robust networking, and intuitive GUIs.

Role & responsibilities

  • Robot Software Development: Design and implement ROS / ROS 2 nodes and launch files;
  • Develop real-time algorithms in C++ and Python.
  • Communication & Networking Build and harden socket-based services (TCP/UDP); optimise throughput and latency across heterogeneous networks.
  • System Integration & Testing Bring up new sensors, actuators, and embedded controllers; write automated HIL/SIL tests; maintain simulation environments (Gazebo / Webots / Ignition).
  • GUI & Tooling Create cross-platform Qt applications (widgets & QML) and internal tools in C++/Python; integrate with Visual Studio & VS Code CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaboration & Documentation Author design docs, code reviews, and Confluence pages; mentor junior engineers; support field deployments and debugging.

Minimum Skill Qualification

  • 3+ years of professional software experience, including 2+ years in robotics.
  • Expert-level C++17/20 and solid Python 3.x proficiency.
  • Experience with ROS or ROS 2 (launch, TF, messages, services, actions) packages.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking and socket programming (blocking & async I/O, error handling, secure transport).
  • Experience in building Qt GUI applications in both C++ and Python/PySide. (preferred not

required)

  • Comfortable in Visual Studio (Windows) and VS Code (Linux) with CMake and vcpkg workflows.
  • Strong grasp of software engineering best practices: Git branching, code reviews, CI/CD, unit

testing, static analysis

Working Hours: USA time (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern Time)

India Time (5:00 PM - 1:30 AM Indian Standard Time)

Working Days: Saturday and Sunday working mandatory

Weekly holidays: Monday and Wednesday (or can choose any 2 working days)
