Come and join us at VestasROC Chennai > Global Predictive Monitoring > Global Predictive Monitoring- NCE/APAC/MEDGlobal Predictive Monitoring team is part of Global Service Operations, Quality & HSE in Service, mainly focusing on monitoring activities such as analysis of vibration data and standard signals to measure performance and determine the condition of the wind turbines and components, combining and developing methods to detect and highlight potential failures and damages before they happen, playing a key role to optimize service operations.Responsibilities Primary duties will be monitoring and diagnosing the health condition of wind turbine gearboxes, main bearings, and generators to highlight potential failures and/or damages before they happenTechnical reporting of potential reliability conditionsConstant interaction with service operations performing a follow up on the alerts detected by the system and the technical actions applied on fieldImprovement of alert definitions and monitoring templates based on feedback from fieldKnowledge sharing to spread technical solutionsSupport to service operations on interpreting the predictive models to optimize maintenanceParticipate in Continuous Improvement ProgramsQualificationsM.E/M.Tech/B.E./B.Tech. - Mechanical/ Electrical EngineerLevel II or Level -III Vibration Certification as defined by ISO 2-5 years of experience for Engineer role and 5-8 years of experience for ALE role in industry with Vibration Analysis, Condition MonitoringFlexible to work in shiftsExperience on SKF or BKV or TCM vibration analyzer technologiesGood Understanding about working knowledge of Vibration Analysis Software, Vibration Data Acquisition systems, Vibration sensors and various Condition Monitoring techniquesGood understanding on gearbox, generator and bearing failure modes and problem solvingProficient in Root Cause Failure Analysis, Basic Fault Diagnosis and Condition EvaluationStakeholder managementCompetenciesExperienced on the commercial side, and decidedly practical not just theoreticalBring not just an analytics-orientation, but the ability to use analytics to implement key success metrics related to yield management and revenue generationFluency in English and have good communication, presentation skillsInnovative, structured, self-motivated, communicative and credibleShould be willing to travel abroadSix Sigma - DMAIC/DFSS, good understanding about application of various statistical tools in data analysis and problem solvingExposure to Condition Monitoring of Wind TurbinesKnowledge on SQL, Matlab, and RWhat We OfferWe offer an exciting and international job with abundant opportunities for professional and personal development possibilities in an inspiring environment at a renowned wind turbine manufacturer.
