Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, build systems, and monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline build, deployment, and release processes while ensuring system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Manage and optimize build systems (Make, CMake, or other build frameworks)
  • Integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Splunk
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps best practices
  • Troubleshoot build and deployment issues across environments
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and scalability
  • Support release management and version control processes
  • Document processes, pipelines, and operational procedures
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience in DevOps / Build & Release Engineering

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)

  • DevOps practices and automation

  • Splunk or similar monitoring/log analysis tools

  • Good understanding of build systems:

  • Make / CMake

  • Exposure to Bazel build systems is a plus

  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments

  • Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or equivalent)
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Good to Have

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Experience in large-scale or enterprise environments
