Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Buyer in Coimbatore. You will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring the timely availability of materials, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to optimize costs and improve efficiency.

You will:

  • Release new purchase orders based on daily demand.
  • Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to meet company requirements.
  • Source alternative vendors or parts in the open market to fulfill demand.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for seamless material supply.

You have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in EEE, ECE, Mechanical, or Supply Chain Management (SCM).
  • 1–2 years of experience in SCM (Purchase/Sourcing) with an understanding of SCM flow & activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Additional Requirements:

  • Willing to work from the office.
  • Shift timing: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST.
  • Flexible with work hours.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and execute tasks efficiently.
