About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
with hands-on expertise in
QuickBooks Online
and prior experience managing
U.S. accounting clients
.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing full-cycle bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closing. You'll collaborate closely with the U.S. finance team to maintain accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage
    end-to-end accounting operations
    for assigned U.S. clients.
  • Handle
    AP/AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger
    , and
    month-end closing
    .
  • Prepare and review
    financial statements and management reports
    .
  • Maintain compliance with
    U.S. GAAP
    and internal accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Support audits and assist in improving accounting processes and controls.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 4 years
    of accounting experience, including
    QuickBooks Online
    (mandatory).
  • Prior experience in
    U.S. client accounting
    or outsourcing/KPO environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
    (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing processes.
  • Excellent command over
    Excel
    (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, analytical formulas).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Based in
    Kolkata
    and open to
    work from office
    full-time.

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification
    is a plus (not mandatory).
  • Experience with
    U.S. GAAP
    and multi-entity bookkeeping.
  • Familiarity with
    Xero, ADP, or other U.S. payroll/accounting tools
    .
