About the Job:

We're looking for an AI SEO Intern to support Vendasta's clients in improving their online visibility through SEO and AI-driven tools. You'll work on keyword research, content optimization, and performance reporting using platforms like ChatGPT and Google Search Console. This role is perfect for someone curious, data-minded, and eager to learn how AI is shaping modern digital marketing.

Your Impact:

As an AI SEO Intern, you'll work closely with the SEO Services team and collaborate with AI Website Services and cross-functional teams to:

  • Assist in keyword research, metadata optimization, and on-page SEO updates using Vendasta's AI workflows and playbooks.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools (ChatGPT, Surfer SEO, Gemini) to cluster keywords, generate content outlines, and summarize findings.
  • Collect and organize SEO performance data from platforms like Google Search Console and SE Ranking.
  • Contribute to AI-supported reporting, A/B testing documentation, and automation improvements.
  • Participate in AI workflow testing and share feedback to enhance prompt libraries and SEO efficiency.

What You Bring to the Table:

You're curious, analytical, and eager to learn how AI is revolutionizing search optimization. You want hands-on experience applying both traditional and AI-driven SEO techniques to help businesses grow their digital presence.

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Marketing, Communications, or related program.
  • Foundational understanding of SEO concepts (on-page, off-page, local).
  • Interest in AI tools like ChatGPT, Surfer SEO, or Gemini.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • A coachable mindset with enthusiasm for learning and experimenting.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Certifications or coursework in SEO or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console, SE Ranking, or other SEO analytics tools.
  • Comfort with content management systems (WordPress, Wix, etc.).
  • Experience using or testing AI automation tools in a marketing context.
