Offshore – 2 to 5 GCP Data Engineers

Job Description

· Develop, construct, test, and maintain data acquisition pipelines for large volumes of structured and unstructured data, including batch and real-time processing on Google Cloud.

· Build large and complex datasets based on business requirements.

· Design and implement scalable 'big data' pipeline architectures.

· Identify opportunities for data acquisition by working with stakeholders and business clients.

· Translate business needs into clear technical requirements.

· Leverage Google Cloud tools such as
Python, Dataflow, Datastream, CDC (Change Data Capture), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage
to integrate systems and build data pipelines.

· Monitor pipelines effectively using logs and alerts.

· Use
SAP SLT
to replicate SAP tables to Google Cloud.

· Develop
JSON message structures
for application integrations.

· Apply
DevOps and CI/CD practices
(GitHub, Terraform) to ensure reliability and scalability of data pipelines.

· Optimize BigQuery datasets using
partitioning, clustering, IAM roles, and Policy Tags
to secure data.

· Secure dataset access with roles and authorized views for cross-project sharing.

· Design and build ingestion pipelines using
REST APIs
.

· Recommend ways to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Experience Required

·
5+ years
of experience in a GCP data engineering role (offshore).

·
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience
with the following GCP tools:

o   Python, SQL

o   Dataflow, Datastream, CDC (Change Data Capture)

o   Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub

o   BigQuery, Cloud Storage
