Data Engineer – GCP

We are looking for a mid-level GCP Data Engineer to join our team in Borivali. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, building, and managing data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP.
- Work with BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and related GCP services.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to ensure reliable data availability.
- Optimize queries and data models for performance and cost efficiency.
- Implement best practices for data security, governance, and monitoring.
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong expertise in GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer).
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Java/Scala).
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and real-time streaming.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Terraform/IaC for GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
