Role summary-

Assists in creating basic engineering drawings and documentation under the guidance of senior draftsmen and engineers.

Qualifications

Diploma/BE Mechanical

Experience

2-3 Years

Key responsibilities-

  • Create basic engineering drawings of pressure vessels and related equipment using CAD software under supervision.
  • Assist in preparing fabrication and assembly drawings, including bill of materials (BOM).
  • Ensure drawings comply with ASME and other relevant codes and standards.
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback from senior draftsmen and design engineers.
  • Maintain drawing files and documentation in an organized manner.
  • Support the drafting team in various tasks as needed, including document control and drawing revisions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and senior draftsmen to develop drawings that meet project specifications.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve drafting skills and knowledge of industry standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest CAD software and drafting techniques.
  • Preparation of the Database
  • Preparation of Master file of project
  • Preparation of DDI
  • Documentation on server (Working)

Functional Skills-

  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
  • Basic understanding of mechanical drafting principles and practices.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
  • Basic understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes related to pressure vessels (preferred).
