Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a DevOps Engineer (Openshift/ OCP Expert) located in Mumbai. As a DevOps Engineer at Appice, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our infrastructure, optimizing system performance, and ensuring smooth deployment and operation of our applications. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to automate processes and improve efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues to ensure high availability and reliability of our platform.

  1. Someone who has independently setup a Kubernetes cluster from scratch on a RHEL VM 9.3/9.4/9.5 Cluster

  2. Monitor it using Prometheus/Grafana

  3. Administer the cluster and Deploy Spark Application on the Kubernetes cluster.

  4. Document the steps with Screenshots and text description so that it can be repeated

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes in a bare metal environment (on prem deployment)
  • Experience with cloud technologies and platforms preferably - Azure
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus/ Grafana)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Hands on exp working on Production Server/ Worked independently creating Production server/Cluster
