We are seeking an experienced Forex & Crypto Trader / Fund Manager to oversee our proprietary trading fund. The ideal candidate will trade multiple currency pairs and cryptocurrency assets, both manually and through algorithmic strategies. This role involves developing and executing diversified trading strategies, managing risk, and optimizing returns across our fund. The trader will use major platforms (e.g. MetaTrader 5 and leading crypto exchanges) and should be comfortable designing or configuring trading bots and automated algorithms. This is a hybrid full-time position (part office in Dubai/India, part remote) with compensation comprising a fixed salary plus performance-based commission or profit-sharing for mid- and senior-level hires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Research market conditions and develop diversified trading strategies for FX and crypto. Analyze global economic indicators and price trends to inform trading decisions.

  • Trade Execution: Execute buy/sell orders across multiple platforms (MT5, crypto exchanges, etc.), optimizing entries and exits. Utilize algorithmic tools or bots to automate parts of the trading process.

  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends in both Forex and cryptocurrency markets to identify opportunities[1][4]. Stay informed on news, policy changes, and emerging assets.

  • Risk Management: Manage the fund's risk by setting appropriate position sizes, stop-loss limits, and exposure levels. Apply disciplined risk-control techniques to protect capital and meet the fund's risk tolerance.

  • Performance Reporting: Prepare regular performance reports and trading logs. Track portfolio P&L, document trade rationales, and communicate results to management. Maintain detailed records in compliance with internal policies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with any support analysts or technology teams. Share insights, backtests, and strategy performance, and refine approaches based on feedback and evolving market conditions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of active trading experience in Forex and/or cryptocurrency markets, preferably with a track record of managing a diversified portfolio. Experience with both manual and automated trading is essential.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with trading platforms (e.g. MetaTrader 5, TradingView, and major crypto exchange interfaces). Familiarity with trading APIs or scripting (MQL5, Python, etc.) to set up and customize trading bots and algorithms. Advanced use of technical analysis tools and charting software.

  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of multiple FX currency pairs and crypto asset classes. Ability to analyze technical indicators and fundamental factors. Knowledge of on-chain analytics, blockchain technology, and crypto market structure is a plus.

  • Risk & Quantitative Skills: Excellent risk management and quantitative skills. Able to balance risk/reward effectively and make data-driven decisions under pressure. Experience using backtesting or simulation tools to validate strategies.

  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA) are advantageous but not required.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and discipline. Excellent communication skills for reporting and teamwork. Able to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced trading environment.

  • Location & Work Arrangement: Candidate should be based in or able to commute to Dubai or India, with a hybrid schedule (partial office hours and partial remote work).
