Engineer (Safety)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Risk Assessment and Inspection: Conduct continuous site inspections and risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
• Policy Implementation: Develop, enforce, and maintain site-specific safety policies and safe work procedures (SWPs).
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all site activities strictly comply with local and national safety regulations.
• Training and Education: Organize and deliver essential safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks to all workers.
• Incident Management: Thoroughly investigate all accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate safety records (inspections, training logs, incident reports) and communicate findings to Project Manager and authorities.
• Emergency Preparedness: Establish and manage effective emergency response and evacuation plans.
