Business/Company: HyFun GroupSite/Location: Mehsana, GujaratDepartment: Health & SafetyPosition/Profile Title: Safety OfficerDesignation: Officer/Executive/Sr. ExecutiveOn Roll/Off Roll/Contract: On rollAge Group: 25-35 YearsExperience: 5-10 YearsEssential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in engineering or science+ PDIS/ADIS in Industrial SafetyEssential Area of Expertise: Process Safety, Fire Safety, Emergency Response PlanDesired Area of Expertise: Factory act & GFR Compliances, Safety Training, Internal IMS auditorCritical/Special Exposure: Safety Audits & EHS compliancesInternal Interface (Designations): Production, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement & other functional departmentsExternal Interface (Suppliers/Govt Bodies/Communities): Regulatory BodiesReporting to: EHS HeadReportees (Function and Designation): 4–5 fire safety staffsPurpose of the position: lImplementation of EHS management system as per statuary requirement.Roles and ResponsibilityOversee EHS compliances for entire plant operations.Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments & safety committee meetings across all functional departments.Monitoring & testing of Fire Hydrant system, Fire extinguishers, fire alarm system and other fire protection system.Maintain and update safety documentation, work permits records, incident register, Safety MIS reports etc.Build emergency response team & conduct emergency mock drill periodically.Conduct toolbox talks & safety trainings for employees and contractors.Investigate near-misses, incidents, and injuries; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.Conduct safety inductions for new employees and contractors.Coordinate with cross functional departments for safe operation of equipment's.Promote a culture of safety awareness, Safety Initiatives and continuous improvement among employees.
