Job Description:

We are hiring a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our data architecture and pipelines. You will ensure that data is readily accessible and reliable for business intelligence and data science teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures (e.g., databases, large-scale processing systems).
  • Build data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources.
  • Implement data storage solutions in data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and data lakes.
  • Work with big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.
  • Ensure data quality and implement data governance and security practices.

Requirements:

  • 2-8 years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in a programming language like Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and cloud data warehousing solutions.
  • Understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.
