Role and Responsibilities: The Operations Manager_Cruise will be responsible for planning and executing day-to-day cruise operations, ensuring the smooth running of cruise turnarounds. This includes overseeing mooring operations, baggage handling, valet parking, waste management, and provisions/stores loading. The Operations Manager_Cruise will also lead the cruise commercial for the Group, handling cruise operations and additional services quotations, and representing the company at global business and networking events such as SeaTrade Cruise and Cruise Britain. They will need to anticipate cruise clients' needs, develop new work procedures and workflow, solve problems, implement action plans, and ensure that the entire workforce understands company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Operations Manager_Cruise will be responsible for maintaining labor levels to meet operational requirements while keeping costs within budget. They will also play a key role in developing cruise products and services to enhance offerings for cruise guests, with a focus on pre/post-cruise experiences. Producing accurate KPI reports and chairing KPI meetings with cruise clients will be part of the role as well.
