1. General Ledger & Accountancy:

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and adjustments.
  • Maintain accounting policies and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

2. Banking Operations:

  • Manage banking relationships and oversee cash management.
  • Monitor daily cash flow and treasury operations.
  • Approve payments and ensure timely fund transfers.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations.

3. Taxation:

  • Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws (e.g., VAT, GST, Corporate Tax).
  • Coordinate tax filings, audits, and liaise with tax consultants and authorities.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.

4. Accounts Payable:

  • Supervise the accounts payable team and process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
  • Resolve supplier issues and manage aging reports.
  • Implement controls and approvals for expenditure.

5. SAP HANA (Finance Module):

  • Utilize SAP HANA for financial reporting, transaction processing, and data analysis.
  • Lead finance module configurations and system improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT on SAP-related issues and enhancements.
  • Train finance staff on SAP functionalities. responsibilities

  • Experience in a multinational or large corporate environment.
  • Exposure to financial audits and internal controls.
  • Knowledge of international tax frameworks (for companies with cross-border operations).
