Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (IoT) to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IoT-based products. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, design, sales, and stakeholders to define product vision, translate business needs into technical requirements, and ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete product lifecycle for IoT products—from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization
  • Define product roadmap, features, and priorities aligned with business goals
  • Gather and analyze requirements from internal teams, customers, and market research
  • Create detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and use cases
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, cloud, and mobile/web development teams
  • Ensure seamless integration between devices, cloud platforms, and applications
  • Track product performance using KPIs and analytics; suggest improvements
  • Coordinate with QA teams to ensure product quality and compliance
  • Support sales and marketing teams with product demos, documentation, and training
  • Stay updated with IoT trends, technologies, and competitor offerings

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in IoT / Smart Devices domain
  • Strong understanding of IoT architecture (devices, sensors, gateways, cloud, APIs)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum product development methodologies
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or similar
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of networking protocols (MQTT, HTTP, BLE, LoRa, Zigbee, etc.)
  • Exposure to data analytics, dashboards, and device management platforms
  • Experience working with cross-functional and remote teams
