This Senior
Cost Management Engineer
role focuses on delivering
robust cost estimates for complex, highly engineered vehicle components
and systems across the full product lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering, supply chain, and key suppliers to enable data-driven design and sourcing decisions that improve cost, value, and manufacturability.

Experience Required: 6-10 Years

Location : Pune

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in
    engineering, cost estimation, value analysis/value engineering, or a related technical role in manufacturing.
  • Experience with
    Computer Aided Cost Estimation (CACE) tools and structured cost modeling.
  • Global market and supply chain experience.
  • Manufacturing experience (fab, machining, or automotive)
  • Has worked with True Value Hub software (not required but preferred)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude and familiarity with
    fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, and other vehicle manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or supplier management in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of cost accounting concepts (overheads, absorption, burden rates, etc.).
  • Knowledge of
    manufacturing routings, process flows, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T for tolerance and process implications.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Experience with cost analysis platforms (e.g., True Value Hub or similar tools).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and other web-based collaboration tools.
