At Aero Robotics, we are building the next generation of autonomous robotic systems for wind turbine maintenance. Our mission is to replace risky, expensive, and time-consuming manual inspections with AI-powered robots that deliver precision, safety, and efficiency at scale.

We are already working with some of the largest energy companies in India and Europe, developing robotic arms and crawlers that can perform ultrasonic testing, blade inspections, and predictive maintenance without human risk. Aero Robotics is positioned to become a leader in transforming renewable energy operations worldwide.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site internship for a Web Developer Intern in Mumbai. You will be responsible for building and improving the front-end and back-end of web applications that interface with real-time robotic systems, including the Robotic manipulator and other robots.

You will design dashboards, data visualizations, and interfaces that receive and display data from robotic systems via APIs, sockets, or MQTT protocols. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build highly interactive applications from scratch and work directly at the intersection of robotics and web technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop web dashboards for real-time robotic data visualization
  • Build and maintain front-end and back-end components using frameworks like React, Vue, or
  • Integrate APIs and communication protocols (e.g. REST, WebSocket, MQTT) to stream data from robotic systems
  • Customize and enhance the existing Robotic manipulator web interface to suit project needs
  • Build interfaces for robot control, monitoring, and inspection report generation
  • Work closely with robotics and AI teams to translate raw data into useful UI components
  • Design responsive, intuitive, and scalable UI/UX for use in the field
  • Document code, deployment steps, and user instructions

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks
  • Experience with React, , or similar web frameworks
  • Backend experience with , Express, or Python Flask/Django
  • Familiarity with real-time communication (WebSocket, MQTT, REST APIs)
  • Ability to work with robot telemetry data, JSON, and visualizations (e.g. charts, logs, sensor maps)
  • Basic knowledge of networking and data transmission protocols
  • Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development
  • Degree (or pursuing) in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field

Nice to have

  • Experience working with robotic systems or IoT devices
  • Exposure to 3D visualization tools like or WebGL
  • Understanding of Docker, CI/CD, or cloud deployment (AWS, Firebase)
  • Basic understanding of ROS / ROS2 and how data is published/subscribed
  • UI/UX design skills or experience using tools like Figma
