Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end accounting operations including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, and finalisation of accounts.
Manage Direct Tax (Income Tax, TDS) and Indirect Tax (GST, VAT) compliance, returns, and filings.
Assist with preparation and filing of income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
Conduct tax audits and statutory audits as per regulatory requirements.
Liaise with clients and government authorities on tax-related matters.
Prepare and analyze financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.
Support the team in internal and external audits, including documentation and reconciliations.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA.
Experience: 1 to 5 years, preferably from a CA firm background.
Solid hands-on experience in Direct and Indirect Tax.
Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting and taxation software (Tally, Zoho, Busy, or similar).
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
