**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Firmware Lead to join our dynamic engineering team. The Firmware Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of high-quality firmware solutions for our products. This position requires a deep understanding of embedded systems and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the design and development of firmware for various embedded systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Coordinate and mentor a team of firmware engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Develop and maintain firmware architecture(C/C++), ensuring it aligns with both the current and future needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to define interface specifications and ensure seamless integration between firmware and hardware components.
  • Conduct code reviews, system verification, and validation to ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for their adoption into new projects.
  • Troubleshoot and debug firmware-related issues in a timely manner, providing solutions that enhance product performance.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all firmware development processes comply with organizational policies and quality standards.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
  • Proven experience leading firmware teams and projects, with a track record of successful product launches.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and assembly language.
  • Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, continuous integration, and agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across various teams.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).
  • Familiarity with hardware design and debugging tools, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Understanding of safety standards related to firmware development (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC
