We have developed a proprietary, best in class, Algorithmic Trading platform which we use for back testing and developing new algorithmic strategies. Our goal is to incorporate modern tools and global best practices in our research and development process in an attempt to create a set of strategies that manage capital across markets and segments . We are looking for intelligent, motivated individuals who seek to work in a challenging, collegial environment to build institutional quality infrastructure and develop high alpha yielding strategies.

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to the following):

  • Developing relationships between securities using Quant techniques and models
  • Analyze data sets to identify a new set of alphas and provide analytics of existing trades
  • Research and apply concepts from academic journals and financial literature and translate into fully automated trading strategies using a range of historical data, price, and volume inputs
  • Build models and deploy high-frequency/mid-frequency or low-frequency trading strategies on different asset classes
  • Researching portfolio construction and risk allocation techniques - Back-testing ideas using historical tick-by-tick data
  • Evaluating strategy performance, making improvements, and scaling up successful strategies

Requirements:

  • A degree from a top Indian university (or from other leading universities in the world) in a highly analytical field
  • A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and problem solving
  • Prior experience in Quantitative research or strategy development in the algorithmic set up (desirable)
  • Quantitative aptitude and research oriented mindset
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and hard working
  • Hands on experience on developing alpha/strategy
